About learntofly.ing
learntofly.ing is a small independent game site built around Learn to Fly, the 2009 penguin launch game by Light Bringer Games, served from this domain through the Ruffle emulator. The site was rebuilt in September 2026 as a plain static site so it loads fast on a school Chromebook and does not depend on a database.
The rest of the site stays close to the penguin: Learn to Fly 3, Burrito Bison, Burrito Bison Revenge, Toss the Turtle and Johnny Upgrade, each with its own page describing what it is, how it controls and what makes it worth the time.
How the games work
Learn to Fly and Learn to Fly 3 are original Flash SWFs played through Ruffle, which is served from this domain along with the games, so they load with the page and never contact the old sponsors. The other games are HTML5 or Ruffle builds embedded from the game host that serves our sites. Nothing installs, no account is needed, and nothing loads until you press Play.
Who writes the content
The descriptions, control guides, tips and answers on this site are written by the people who run it, after playing the games. Where we describe a mechanic, it is because we have used it. If something we have written is wrong, tell us through the contact page and we will fix it.
Ownership and rights
Learn to Fly and Learn to Fly 3 belong to Light Bringer Games; this site is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by them. The other games belong to their developers, who are credited on each page. All other games remain the property of their respective developers and publishers. If you own a game listed here and want it removed, get in touch and we will take it down.
